Take Viale Librino and Asse Attrezzato in Catania/Via Giuseppe di Gregorio/Viale Cristoforo Fioravante towards the A19 Palermo – Catania highway, then continue along this road and take the exit Buonfornello, go straight for 1,5 km and at the crossroad of Costa Verde Hotel turn right.

From Palermo: Take the A19 Palermo – Catania highway, take the exit Cefalù, continue on the SS113 towards Palermo and at the crossroad of Costa Verde Hotel turn left.

From Messina: Take the A20. Take the exit Cefalù, continue on the SS113 towards Palermo and at the crossroad of Costa Verde Hotel turn left.

From Catania: Take the A19 Palermo – Catania highway, then continue along this road and take the exit Buonfornello, go straight for 1,5 km and at the crossroad of Costa Verde Hotel turn right.

From Trapani: Take the A29 Palermo – Mazara del Vallo highway. Once arrived in Palermo continue on the A19 highway Palermo – Catania highway towards the SS113, continue along this road and take the exit Buonfornello, go straight for 1,5 km and at the crossroad of Costa Verde Hotel turn right.

From Agrigento: Take the SS189, once arrived in Termini Imerese continue towards Cefalù or take the SS640 which is connected with Caltanissetta, take the A19 highway. Continue on the SS113 and take the exit Buonfornello, go straight for 1,5 km and at the crossroad of Costa Verde Hotel turn right.

From Enna: take the A19 highway, once arrived in Buonfornello follow the directions already written.

From Siracusa: take the SS114, once arrived in Catania take the A19 highway, in Campofelice di Roccella take the exit Buonfornello, go straight for 1,5 km and at the crossroad of Costa Verde Hotel turn right.

For those who want to travel by bus there are private and public companies.

AST buses connect Cefalù and its nearby villages such as Campofelice, Castelbuono, Collesano and Isnello.

The SAIS company connects Palermo and Cefalù from Mondays to Saturdays, with different departures during the day.  

There are also bus shuttles and different taxi sharing that can be booked in advance and which offer little buses (from 4 to 9 seats) to get to Cefalù from the most important Sicilian cities. The driver can take passengers in a specific place (station, airport, port, city center) to take them to Cefalù.

Another way is to reach us by the bus company called Sommatinese Viaggi, which everyday and frequently can take you to Costa Verde Hotel.

From the central station of Palermo, it’s possible to get to Cefalù from a period of time from 45 to 60 minutes, at a low price.

From Messina station it takes longer to get to Cefalù, there will be necessary a period of time from 2 hours to 2 hours and a half.  

From Catania it takes longer because you should arrive to Messina first and then you have to change the train taking the one for Cefalù for a period of time of 5 hours. From Trapani it is necessary to reach Palermo first, and then take the train to Cefalù.

For those who want to travel by train it is important to notice that, also during summer, the last trains to Cefalù leave at 9.00 pm. The easiest solution should be renting a car, taking a shuttle or a taxi.

Cefalù does not have a port that allows the docking of large ferries, so those wishing to reach the north-western Sicilian coast by sea should first of all reach the port of Palermo or Termini Imerese. Once in Palermo, you can choose different options to reach Cefalù.

FROM NAPLES - Tirrenia and GNV
The Tirrenia shipping company guarantees connections from Naples to Palermo, with night crossings lasting 10 hours. The capital of Campania and Sicily are also connected by sea by GNV ferries.

FROM CIVITAVECCHIA AND GENOA- GNV
Grandi Navi Veloci offers a connection from the port of Civitavecchia to that of Termini Imerese and to that of Palermo, with a journey time of about 15 hours, and from Genoa to Palermo (21 hours).

FROM LIVORNO AND SALERNO, NAPLES AND CAGLIARI - Grimaldi Lines
